Prasinos Tech Innovations Pvt Ltd. is a start-up (recognized by DPIIT, Govt of India) founded in May 2022 at Hyderabad, India. ‘Prasinos’ is a Greek word referring to ‘Green’ and the vision of the company is to magnify the less known inherent facts of science where the engineering and environment join hands together to develop the ‘green technology’. It is founded in collaboration by two chemical engineers from IIT Kharagpur and BITS Pilani with a vision to translate the knowledge into scientific innovations and innovation into self-reliance processes within the Agro-Water-Food-Energy Nexus either as technology or product development. Prasinos has a unique team of professionals having several decades of experience in the chemical industry, technology development & commercialization. The motive of the company is to encourage the new ideas of budding researchers, take an action, and utilize their talent and expertise to pave the path from idea to innovation in making a sustainable ecosystem and economic growth of the nation. Our expertise lies in agro-based biomass processing for value-added products extraction, advanced water treatment technologies based on advanced oxidation processes, advanced separation with ZLD/MLD approaches, cavitation based technologies and process intensification for multiple applications including biomass pre-treatment, bio-extraction, bio-energy generation and targeted food products development/processing. We also provide engineering research consultancy within our scope of work.
